dustinpn
Hey, I discovered the joy of cfos about 2 months ago and have been enjoying uncapped uploading/downloading while maintaining low pings since. This has apparently changed with the latest build. I'm not sure what's causing it, but it brings your connection to a crawl. Reverting back to the stable build fixes this, but I just wanted to make sure the developers were aware of the problem so they can iron out the bugs before the next stable release. Firon
Sure it does, it works fine. I'm using it right now. You may've forgotten to manually add the beta builds to the priority list (set to Lower).
dustinpn
I added them. The problem I had with 427 was weird. The closest thing I could describe it to was my connection being saturated....even when no data was being sent. Is cfos able to work correctly with the encyption turned on? I'll try again with the newest build and hopefully it works.
Lucifer
Instead of keep adding the beta builds to the priority list, why not rename the file (beta) to utorrent.exe and add it to the list. This way you don't have to add the latest builds everytime it's released.
chaosblade
Thats what i do. cFosSpeed has always worked fine for me. Build 1075 here, i think.
Firon
1075 gave me BSODs, I can't use it

chaosblade
Firon: Interesting. I had a few BSODs lately, and i thought it was my firewall (LNS).
Firon
I had to roll back to 1067 to fix it. It was kinda obvious because it said cfosspeed.sys in the BSOD :]It might very well be your problem, though.
Majik
I had to roll back to 1067 to fix it. It was kinda obvious because it said cfosspeed.sys in the BSOD :]It might very well be your problem, though.I'm having the exact same problem at the moment with µTorrent v1.4.2 BETA b432 and cFosSpeed v2.13 b1075.. BSoDs pointing at "cfosspeed.sys". By going back to 1067 you've eliminated the BSoDs?
Firon
Yes.
chaosblade
Actually, ine also pointed out at lnssomething.sys (LNS firewall) and tcpip.sys .. Though it might cause that indirectly by crapping the network stack or something like that.@Majik: Your avatar looks like a new-age version of morte (Planescape Torment). Majik
Yes.Alright thanks. I've unisntalled 1075 and installed 1067. Will see if there are any further BSoDs caused by cFosSpeed. @Majik: Your avatar looks like a new-age version of morte (Planescape Torment).I've never played that game, but the avatar's actually a screenshot I took of the dynamic display pic I bought from Blue Mountain for MSN.
