vesper8
Hello all. I don't know if this has been discussed before but I wasn't able to find anything by using the search featureI run winxp 64-bit and everytime I reboot or shut down my computer.. I always get an error saying utorrent couldnt' shut down properly and I have to force it.when I want to reboot I usually #1 put all my torrents on pause, then close utorrent (it disapears from the taskbar at this point) then I shutdown/restart and it's then that it tells me the process was still running and won't shut down properlyany clues on how to fix this small annoyance?thanks! Ultima
Why pause the torrents? Just stop them, or exit. Anyway, how long after exiting µTorrent do you wait before rebooting? And have you done that registry edit that shortens the amount of time given to processes to exit before forcing them to exit?
Firon
You need to give µTorrent about 15 seconds before closing it.
