sidthecat
Due to a space problem, I migrated all my torrents to a fresh, clean new drive, and yesterday, everything was working - all the directories were working. When I opened or rechecked them, utorrent knew they were all in a new location. Then something happened overnight. Something awful. This morning, all my torrents (with the exception of five which were active and I didn't move) display a "can't open .torrent" message, pointing to the original location. The won't recheck, they won't open; they won't seed.Anyone have any idea what happened?
moogly
The .torrent storage folder has surely changed, maybe the drive letter or it's not reachable anymore.Check in Preferences > Directories (in µT) that the folder set in the line "Store .torrents" is reachable. Then force a recheck of all the red torrent jobs. sidthecat
Hmm...What is working is if I remove the torrent from the list, then add it again from the new location, which forces it to recheck. A bit piecemeal, but it is working.
