Move .torrent of finished job Not working

If I select Move .torrent of finished job to a particular directory its not actually moving its just creating a copy of the .torrent file in the directory which I mentioned. I feel move means it should work like Cut function. But its performing the function of copy ? why is it so?

Thanks moogly.. I didn't know it did that by default. But is there a way to change the default functionality? I mean I want to move the completed .torrent file ( I want CUT functionality not copy) to the specified folder. But I don't want to check 'Auto load .torrents from' option. Is there a way?

I will make myself clear.

Suppose I have a file abc.torrent file. I add it to the download list (From say c:\source) and when the download gets completed the abc.torrent file should be moved to a specific folder(say c:\dest) (By move I mean the copy of the abc.torrent file should NOT be there in c:\source) and seeding should start using the abc.torrent file from that folder to which it was moved (C:\dest).

Sorry to dig this out, but I was wondering exactly the same thing as seahawk for some years (though the irritation was only mild that I didn't care). I figured it out now. I hope this helps somebody.

You need to set "Store .torrents in" to the source folder as well as setting "Move .torrents for finished jobs to" to the destination folder. You MUST put the .torrent file in the source folder, then start the download.

If you put the .torrent file elsewhere and start the download (or if you don't set that first option), that original file outside the source folder ends up staying (because a new copy made in the source folder is the one which gets moved). Then you end up with 2 copies of the .torrent file, one in the originating folder and another one in the destination folder, which is rather annoying.

Not sure why it works that way. I suppose some people double click on a torrent file to start it, then delete it immediately by habit (as uTorrent client has made a copy of it automatically). But I never really thought of torrent usage in that way... it actually defies my common sense on how I expected it to work. So I can understand seahawk's confusion.
