Dignan17 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Greetings! My apologies if this has been asked before, but I didn't know how to word a search query.I've been a uTorrent user for quite some time now, and I think it's the best torrent program out there. I just upgraded to version 3 and have a single small annoyance that I can't seem to find the solution to.In the past, I've only looked at my torrents in a single mode: all torrents.I don't know if this was added in 3.0, but I notice I now have sort of a folder-tree frame on the left of the uTorrent window. Sorry if I didn't notice that before if it was there, because I wouldn't have messed with it anyway, I just look at all of my torrents all the time. But what I'm noticing now is annoying. When I add any new torrents, they don't show up for me. I have to click on the top-level "Torrents" folder to get them to show up. What is annoying about this is that I never change from that mode, yet every time I add a torrent I have to click that folder now if I want to see them show up.Is there a way to fix this? Is this intentional? Am I doing something wrong? Should I be posting in another area? Thanks for any help you can offer!
Dignan17 Posted July 12, 2010 Author Report Posted July 12, 2010 So...no ideas? I just wish I knew why this changed, as it was never a problem before. Is this a glitch in my installation, or is this how uTorrent behaves now? It's not the end of the world, just annoying...
Dignan17 Posted July 18, 2010 Author Report Posted July 18, 2010 Well, I've reverted to 2.0.2. If the things I saw in 3.0 aren't expected to be fixed, from a usability standpoint I certainly won't be upgrading when it's released.I was even annoyed by little things. For example, in a torrent's file list, I couldn't use Ctrl+A to select all the files.Anyway, I guess I'll try 3.0 when it comes out, but I'll be hanging onto the install for 2.0.2 just in case...Too bad I didn't hear from anyone on this...
