st0kesey
I have a number of torrents I am trying to download and although it shows hundreds of Peers and Seeds it will not pick up any it just has the status of Downloading but has zero connectings, e.g. the Seeds Column may have "0 (500)" occasionally it may go to "1 (500)" for a while but then back to zero. Also quite often the blue arrow next to the name of the torrent file will have a small red no entry sign on it.Any ideas?I have the same problem with torent 1.3, 1.4 and the beta one on the web site currently. µtorrent-Guest
"I have a number of torrents I am trying to download"what is your connectionspeed and type? How many torrents are trying to download at once?Try Using the values that the integrated speedguide sugests (CTRL+G). And wait to see if it will change the not downloading problem! Is "Network OK" shown in the statusbar left to DHT Number?
Vectorferret
The red (-) is an indicator that something is wrong. Most likely, it is a torrent from a private tracker yuor not allowed to have. Look at the Tracker Status on the general tab below the torrent list and see if there is an error message. If you see no error, do you get "Network OK" in the status bar at the bottom of the window? terpio
Hi, I have similar problem with one of my torrents - hundreds of seeds but µtorrent is connecting only to peers and I'm stuck on 86% with all of them. I have newest beta with "Network OK" - others torrents are downloading just fine.It looks like this:I think that problem isn't with µtorrent but with .torrent itself but can anyone explain me why this is happening? Sorry but my English (only writing) isn't very good.
1c3d0g
Uhm...Availability says you have 0.865...sorry, there's nothing we can do for you here. Go ask them to re-seed it (where you got that torrent from). Or go look for another one that has better availability. :/
terpio
Well this torrent is on multiples trackers and has DTH on. Its availability is increasing steadily but very slowly I have started it on 1 march and will be downloading it for while with this speed I'm just curious why this happening, why I can't connect to one of seeds and get missing pieces from him. Wired.
Vectorferret
It's basically a painfully slow seed using superseeding (so he counts as if he has 0% of the file, so doesn't contribute to availability display). As he very. very slowly adds to the size of the torrent, the users in it share it to the others. I hate it when that happens, all you can do is wait. Turning on bt.always_prio_rare will help a little if you are connected to that super-seed.
splintax
Basically "availability" is the amount of total copies available to you right now.If it's less than 1.0, you can't grab the whole file.
