trackers don't connect

I have red arrows for all trackers. For each torrent there is "Host is down." When added the arrow is briefly blue then red. Not a bit comes down. Exact same for Demonoid, BrokenStones, and a private music tracker. I know uTorrent is allowed on the latter two. I assume it's OK for Demonoid.

I have used all sorts of Preferences sets with no difference, including ports and randomizing.

I have tried bypassing my router (Airport Extreme) plugging directly into the cable modem.

I have trashed the app, the ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent folder and the ~/Library/Preferences/com.bittorrent.uTorrent.plist file.

Vuze and Transmission work fine - been using both for years with all sorts of setups over time. And, yes, I have tried uTorrent without these running.

What's even more maddening is I tried an earlier version of uTorrent a few months ago and it worked fine (same system computer).

I have been struggling with this for a few weeks now. Please tell me I'm missing something.

Thanks,

F

Everyone feel free to line up and smack Fuga upside the head. Ask him if he's familiar with Little Snitch. Never mind his saying "nothing changed from when it worked." Proceed with slap.

Thank you.
