Smal Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Basicly I have a lan, with 4 different internet connections avalible.(quite complex home network between 4 houses)4 routers, 4 public ip adresses. I want to download a torrent using 3 different gateways at the same time.Is this possible using utorrent?Up untill now, Ive simply started utorrent on 3 different computers, each having a different default gateway.then manually added lan peers. (local peer discovery seldom works)But this must be possible to do with just one computer and maybe even only 1 client?

Switeck Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 There are dual-WAN routers that do some load balancing that could act in a semi-transparent way to uTorrent to give 1 uTorrent client access to 2 internet connections....But there's no easy option for 3 or more. And even the dual-WAN router + 1 uTorrent client will do so in only a partial manner -- only allowing incoming connections probably on one internet connection.
