Freezing/Unfreezing/ReFreezing on Server08 R2

Hey, I've read several posts on this issue and tried all of the proposed solutions, to no avail. Utorrent will freeze about 30secs after initial start, then given a few minutes will unfreeze. Then freeze again. Then unfreeze. And so on.... Happens with a fresh default-setting install of Utorrent. Here's what I've tried-

-Run in compat mode for xp sp3, also tried vista sp2 for shits and giggles. Tried both with and without "run as admin" checked. Always through "Change settings for all users box." currently set to run as admin in xp3 compat mode.

-Disk write caching was disabled on my C drive. enabled it.

-installed Utorrent 1.7, 1.8, of course 2.0.2 and even beta 2.0.3

-tried disabling DHT.

-I don't like their UI and despise their remote control, but thought I'd see what happens with another client. Vuze has the same issue...

running server08 r2 on a P4 3.0ghz 1Gb RAM running Active Directory and IIS for my website (which is very very rarely accessed). If you have Speccy, or wanna download it, it gives you my system specs at the link below. Got a dump file while Utorrent was froze, but the thing is huge (almost 100Mb!) Also Just put a hijack this log in there, which I have no idea what that does.

This Win2k8 install is pretty fresh, I've installed a total of 4 other programs: Firefox, DynDNS updater, RealVNC, and Notepad++. That's it. No web-surfing outside of forums like this.

Anyone have any ideas?

Appears similar to my 2010-02-18 message:

uTorrent freezes periodically (1.8.x through 2.0) Possibly NIC related

I have now repeated this periodic stall across several Windows 2008 R2 x64 systems.

It does NOT appear to be a NIC issue, due to the number of different NICs. Also, my servers are basic clean installs without even utilities like Acrobat Reader or Winzip. IPV6 is also disabled across the board.

Did anyone figure this one out. I recently started seeing a similar problem to this on my Win 2008 R2 Enterprise server. However, in my case, the GUI itself does not freeze. I can stop / start all fo the seeding torrents at any time to kick start them. Everything else behaves as was reported at the top of this thread.

I made some ProcessMonitor dumps today in hopes of seeing something that could explain this but have yet to review them (lots of data). The other thing peculiar is that uTorrent worked great while I had it installed on the C drive. My trouble started after moving the torrent folder to the D drive. I am/was seeding about 80 gigs worth of torrents and had to clear it off of the C drive. I would be interested in reading any other observations that may help us arrive at a solution.
