Draco Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 I'm using uTorrent 2.0.2 with Win7. In Germany now and connecting via WLAN. I have the green tick but the network test shows "Port is not open (you are still able to download)". I can download, but not upload/seed with "The Box" trackers. However: I am uploading/seeding on Demonoid trackers! What's going on and any advice how to fix this? If my port is not forwarded why does Demonoid uploading work? I have tried DHT/UPnP/Nat PMP on and off, adjusting speed settings.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Firon Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 You probably genuinely don't have an open port. µTorrent can sometimes do NAT traversal and allow you to get some incoming connections anyway.It's also very difficult to seed on most private trackers, due to a lack of downloaders. I do get seeding on the Box on slower connections, so I think it's as you say, that despite green tick the port is not really open. Just not in the mood to go through all the procedures really!
