Drazick
Hello. My OS is Windows 7.By default the working folder of uTorrent is UserFolders\Downloads.I have 120GB in there which I'm seeding.I copied it to other folder in another drive. How can I make uTorrent use the new folder for seeding for those torrents? How can I define the new folder as the "Working Folder" of uTorrent? Thanks. Drazick
Could you elaborate. It seems I'm missing something.P.S.Found what (I guess) you mean at the FAQ.Should I copy the torrent file as well or it's enough I copied the folders with the files (Remember, I want to delete all I have in the Downloads folder)? Thanks. DreadWingKnight
You seem to not understand what the "Set Download Location" function does.
Drazick
I guess so.I always thought what defines which tracker to use is the "Torrent" file.So now that I changed the directory (As described in the FAQ), What should I do with the Torrent files (Not the directories with the data downloaded but the *.torrent files I downloaded to initiate the download process).I guess it's the basics, sorry for that. Drazick
The problem I want to remove them from where they are (Downloads Folder).Yet I want to keep seeding the data (Which we moved the other drive). What if I set the "Automatically Load .Torrents From" option and set it on the new folder and copy the corresponding torrents files to the new drive, would that do the job? Thanks. DreadWingKnight
If you haven't removed the tasks from uT yet, no it won't.Hence why I'm telling you about right-clicking on the offending torrents, going to advanced, and using the set download location (which you would have found in the manual - press F1 in uT)
Drazick
I see.So If I set the new folder properly (It seems I did, The verification process completed) I can now just delete all torrents.Thank you for your patience.
