Turbulent
Hi, I am using utorrent 1.4 build 402. I have one set of files that I want to share between two private torrent communities and both trackers use an announce url with a passcode.Scenario 1) When I add the second tracker url and passcode to an existing and loaded torrent file, with a single line space between the two listings, I loose the ability to connect to the first tracker and the torrent file will not register with the second tracker. Reloading utorrent doesn't change anything. Also, I have set peer.lazy_bitfield *true to rule out isp prohibiting seeding.Scenario 2) When I create a second torrent file with only the announce url and passcode for the second tracker and add the torrent to the existing list inside utorrent, I receive the: "torrent is already loaded", message and adding second torrent file is refused.I would like to continue to use utorrent since it has a small foot print, doesn't monopolise resources, and is portable. I appreciate your help and thanks for your time and consideration.Turbulent
Firon
When adding the tracker, make sure there's an empty line between each entry. And the second one is normal, it prevents you from loading torrents with the same infohash. It just asks you to load the tracker(s) from it.
Turbulent
Hi,It mentions in the initial post that a single line space was used between tracker listings. To clarify, the second tracker announce url cannot use a passcode? If so, is there a work around?ThxTurbulent
Firon
Oh, my mistake, I must've missed that. And um, if there's a blank line, it should be contacting both at the same time, the display just switches quickly between them. Are you sure it's not actually announcing to either tracker? And uh, you should try beta 432 as well.

Turbulent
Hi, It is attempting to contact both trackers when the second url and passcode is added. On the general tab, he 1st tracker appears fine, but the second url and passcode connect attempt displays as: torrent not registered with tracker. And any existing connections with the first tracker are lost even though the isnt any change in the torrent list apperance. The beta version will fix this issue? Thx for responding. Firon
It's not losing connection to the first tracker. If it's not switching displays between the two, then there isn't a blank line between them. And as for the second tracker, that means that the tracker doesn't recognize your torrent's infohash, meaning you probably haven't uploaded it. And if you did, it modified it in a way that changed the infohash, which means you'd have to re-download the torrent from the tracker.
Turbulent
Hi, Sorry guys, Ive spent way to long on this, I tried Azureus and Im not having any issues with creating torrents, uploading and seeding. Azureus uses a similar process to create torrents but it isnt quite as stream lined. It also spends quite a bit longer hashing during torrent file creation, and is many times larger than your client, but it works. Thanks for responding to my posts.TurbulentRe: previous postI did upload the torrent and then redownloaded the file into the utorrent list, but the client wouldnt detect the existing files that the torrent was pointing toward and begin seeding. Instead the torrent would remain displayed as downloading with zero progress.
