leon Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 1.Why dose µTorrent keep downloading(at slow speed) even AFTER it show the file has been completely downloaded 100 %???Is it because the file is somehow incomplete??Should I keep it downloading after 100 % to complete file?2.Many times big(around 4G) video files show some blur and break during play indicating it's NOT complete. Is it somehow related to issue 1?3.Is there any way to check a video file for completion after it is downloaded 100%??Thanks guys:)
DreadWingKnight Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 1> covered in the faq2&3> usage support for completed downloads is beyond the scope of these forums.
leon Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 I don't know what's wrong with me or something. But I don't see the answer to 1 in FAQ.........
DreadWingKnight Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Then you're not looking in the right part of the FAQ (Yes there are multiple parts)
leon Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 I read every part, perhaps not every words. But it dose not answer my question.
paintball9 Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 It's called overheads, and you are now seeding. As for the video, if the torrent says 100% then you can be sure you have the whole video, as complete as it was originally uploaded. (this is assuming that it was uploaded in a working state and not just garbage). Also like DreadWingKnight said usage is not for these forums, however the blurs are probably because your computer isn't fast enough to play the video, HD videos require faster components to display them. In the future go to the tracker where you got the torrent for such questions.Might wanna read this one first, it will make more sense than the FAQ to begin with.http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/beginners-guide
leon Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 Thanks paintball9:)But still some unanswered lol
rafi Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 It's called overheads, and you are now seeding. So why is it not marked as overhead on the graph ?... (2 seeding tasks, no DHT, no PEX)
paintball9 Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Well it is part of the connection process, rather interesting why it's not going under the overhead spot though. I've got the same on mine, only 0.2 though with 8 seeding, 2 peers connected, dht and pex. And a 1.8 download overhead with 40k data up.
