avelog2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 I'm not sure this is a real bug, but anyway.When I set "Put new downloads in" to a certain folder I still get a completely different folder if I (just in case) also check "Always show dialog", which has caused me to often place the files wrong. Isn't the point that "Put new..." should control rigidly where new downloads are put? Hence with the path under "Put new..." as the default path that the user can change via the dialog, but each time the dialog pops up it's the "Put new..." path that is shown.Will files always be placed correctly according to "Put new..." if I don't have "Always show..." checked or is there some 'magic' going on there as well?I apologize for the slight sarcasm.
