buz25 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Just downloaded the latest version of utorrent 2.0.3 and still can't get a green light.Done everything according to conection setup.Port forwarding works fine but keeps coming up with bandwidth conection error 10060. Have also setup static ip and opened up ports.Norton firewall set to accept utorrent.Have netgear routerNorton 360 securityWindows XP sp1Cable internetAny help
buz25 Posted August 15, 2010 Author Report Posted August 15, 2010 Quick update got into modem and turned firewall off now have green light but now bandwidth comes back with error 10053.can u add a port to the modem i have motorola gateway sbg900.thanks
paintball9 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Ya there should be a spot on the modem configuration somewhere to port-forward. You probably need to forward from the modem to your router (check the router config for its ip address) and then from the router to your computer. (set up a static or reserved address.)
