Anonymous777
Hello fellow torrenteers. I have recently circumvented my school's (university) firewall to obtain access to download torrents. I have been successful in my efforts using TOR and a proxy server. However, I am unable to upload, which is a tragedy, as my school's connection has incredibly fast upload rates. How could I get around the firewall for uploads?
paintball9
First of all technically that's illegal (breaking into unauthorized networks), secondly we don't support/endorse the use of tor.
Anonymous777
I haven't broken into any network, I've only circumvented. And TOR is the only way I can circumvent. I don't like using TOR either, but my university has stringent tech regulations, and it's the ONLY way I can. Basically I want to know how to do it without leeching. Naturally I upload much more than I download, and I enjoy adding content to the system.
paintball9
Circumvention is breaking in, by definition. and you could get in some deep trouble if they catch you, including but not limited to expulsion in some cases (yes it has happened). This forum will not be a part of either. The sole purpose of this forum is to provide support for the uTorrent application, not to help people 'hack'.
