Sinisterj12
I been using uTorrent for years... today all of a sudden it just grayed everything out, even the play button. stop button and others are not grayed out. All my torrents are at a dead stop.. upload and download. Only way i can seem to bring them out of being grayed out is to right click and then force download. Then it works normally.. but now i have to do that for every torrent. I'm not a noob so any ideas would be great. Thanks!
paintball9
You're queue is full. Open preferences - queueing, make sure the top two are at a reasonable range for your connection (0 will stop all downloading) use the speed guide (ctrl + g) to configure based on upload. Also if you've got too many torrents seeding they will take up download slots. Stop the old torrents to make room for the new ones.
Sinisterj12
i have it at 3.. i am only trying to download 2 movies.. not seeding anything except the 2 things i'm trying to download.http://yfrog.com/ngutorrenthp is my settings.been doing this for years... and years.. nothing has changed. I have several things downloaded in the uTorrent window that are stopped.. maybe i have it too full? But figured it wouldn't matter since they are just stopped.. only 2 i have any action on.. and thats cause i'm force starting.
paintball9
What about the scheduler/bandwidth limit Do you have it enabled? Check the times that torrents are disabled.Force-start only affects the queue line and the scheduler.

Switeck
You could delete just uTorrent's settings...it can even be made to KEEP your torrent lists and resume them.
Sinisterj12
Thanks for your suggestions. I completely deleted uTorrent and re-installed the Betta 2.2 and its working fine now. I haven't even went into my settings in over a year since i got them set how i wanted.. not sure what happened but re-installing fixed this. Thanks again. Switeck
"not sure what happened but re-installing fixed this."Check your software firewall for old uTorrent entries...it may be allowing some versions of uTorrent only partially.Best bet is to delete ALL uTorrent entries in the firewall and let it redetect the newest version of uTorrent and run with that.
