uTorrent not running when playing games

Hi, noob here. I was just wondering why uTorrent stops downloading when I play video games. Is it not supposed to run when a full screen app is on? or are there certain settings in uTorrent that I need to change to have it run in the background regardless of other applications that are on? TIA ^^

Because uTP is on and when you're playing a game online, the download decreases for the benefit to your game.

In µT, you can uncheck the box about bandwidth management (uTP) if you don't need this behavior.

hi, thanks for the reply. but it did not work. and btw, the download/s does not decrease when I'm playing, they all stop. as soon as I exit out of the game or alt+tab to utorrent they start downloading again (sometimes).

You have to reboot surely µT to "delete" the µTP connections or stop all the active torrent jobs then resume them after disabling µTP.
