vogelizer
I did not have the problem when downloading using my girlfriends computer. This one has XP, and AVG just like on hers. I have tried several different downloads, have closed uTorrent before playing them. I've browsed the forums here but cannot seem to find the fix. Please help
paintball9
Are you sure the file has completely finished? If it has then you need to look for support for completed downloads. We do not do that here. Check the tracker where you got the torrent.
vogelizer
the file has completely finished. I've tried multiple downloads and multiple torrents. Ones I have downloaded from my girlfriends computer work just fine, still. Its just my computer.Ive restarted closed all programs tried in VLC, Windows Media and Realplayer. Same problem with each. vogelizer
note: the ones I download at my girlfriends I bring to my house and try them and they work fine. I have the same set up and use the same media players and they work fine. I try my own here on the computer and they struggle to play freeze and glitch. No clue. Switeck
It may be a video codec problem -- some of the newer ones require far more cpu resources than xvid/divx.
vogelizer
^ but when I download the same video from my girlfriends house and bring it here I can view it just fine with no problems. Theres something that causes the file to become corrupt or damaged during the downloading process on my specific computer..
Switeck
If a force recheck of your file says it's 100% complete, it almost certainly is not corrupted.
vogelizer
so then whats causing the video to not play normally with everything else on the computer running just fine?
