moogly
No software do that during the update, why µT should do that?If someone wants really an old version, he will find it (with Google e.g.), believe me.
rafi
1. Unlike most other apps, uT is a simple one-exe app. Why not take advantage of that ? 2. Also , unlike may other apps new uT releases tend to "misbehave", especially public beta releases. 3. It's simple and easy to do... So why not ? ... rafi
Right, never... Stable or not, people here ask about that. And it's too much talk about a 1-line code change to delete to the waste bin or rename to uTorrent.old (and maybe the *.dat config. files too, like many other apps do)... Call it a bug or a feature... you choose if/what to do about that ... And believe me. I know where to find the old releases...
robincheema
i don't know if i really understand thing, but do u mean like create a restore point before upgrade? and allow users to roll back like they can roll back their drivers? if anything goes wrong with new software
rafi
no, I meant to just save a set of the previous exe/config files so you can just re-instate your previous version and run it in case of any issue with the new version.
