moogly
Can you open the dump file called '090910-23556-01.dmp' with BlueScreenView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html) and post the log here?

moogly
And what's your firewall? The culprit can be a faulty/incompatible hardware. Did you change your RAM recently? Or something in your computer?
shank118
Hmm I'm using Windows firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus. I didn't change anything recently. Unless Windows update did something. I can't really check now cuz I'm not at home. But earlier, i looked at the dump file using Windows debugger. seems like one of the wireless drivers is causing a problem. Maybe i should update the wireless driver? moogly
Yep, that's surely the culprit. Many wireless adapters don't like p2p traffic with high speeds.Try to update the driver or decrease the bandwidth value in µT.
shank118
Hmm it was working fine so far without any problems, with even much higher speeds than what i was experiencing yesterday. I'll try updating it nonetheless. Still, wonder why its acting up only now.
shank118
I updated the wireless drivers. Now Utorrent is really slow compared to before. Any way to make it better? I tried downloading the same file on my desktop computer and its super fast. I used to get such fast speeds on my laptop before this whole thing happened. Switeck
1st and 2nd links in my signature.Just adding more torrents over time can push uTorrent from "running fine" to "running badly" if you have networking issues, such as bad/crashy wireless. BlueCalcite
I recently determined that I am also having this problem. I've been plagued with BSODs for more than 3 months. After spending serious $ and time trying to troubleshoot it, I decided to upgrade operating systems (from XP Pro SP3 to 7 Pro x64). I purchased a new motherboard, power supply, and replaced all of the RAM. And I still have the problem, but I just discovered that it hasn't crashed for 3 days now WITHOUT uTorrent running. My motherboard is Abit IP35 Pro with Realtek onboard LAN. I've tried several different drivers provided by Realtek (the current one is only a month old). And I still get BSODs of either SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x0000003B) or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0x0000000A). BlueScreenView almost always implicates ntoskrnl.exe, but a couple of other files are also occasionally mentioned (fdc.sys, nsiproxy.sys, win32k.sys). Since I've started suspecting uTorrent as the conflict, I've had a hard time finding help ANYWHERE since it seems all the most popular forums refuse to offer advice on any P2P software. Frankly, this is offensive, as they're suggesting that I'm doing something illegal.Anyway, I can't find any way around the problem besides trying to install a PCI LAN card and see if that works. If not, I'll have to find another BT client.
