TuuS Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 The computer running uTorrent is using WinXP sp2, and it worked perfectly running uTorrent 1.84 for quite some time. This week I updated uTorrent to the latest version and now I can load the WebUI, and it appears to be working, but if I try to start a new torrent it does nothing at all. I am able to click the button then browse to the torrent I want to start, but after that when I press "ok", the torrent doesn't appear in the task list. I've tried this many times, and I can load torrents direct from that computer, or if I connect to that computer using remote desktop, but not through the WebUI.The WebUI browser page says WebUI 0.361. Do I need to update that too? I really don't like to fix things that aren't broken, but one of my trackers suddenly refused to accept my version of uTorrent, so I had to update.I look forward to your reply, and will supply any further information you require to help me.Thanks,TuuS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have downloaded the most recent version, but I didn't see a guide on installing it either in that topic, or any type of readme file with the download. I'm going to my office to install it this evening, and I'd rather have all the info I need together before I go. Can you direct me to a guide, or give me instructions please?Edit: I found the guide in the documentation section. Not sure if you know about this, or if it's just on my system, but the new webui (version 3.70) started with the "category list" completely collapsed so it appeared to be disabled. After disabling and re-enabling it several times I finally realized it was working, just had to click and slide the divider over so you could see it. If this hasn't been reported before, and you need more info, just let me know.Also, sorry to double post, just wanted to make sure you know I got it working.
