Xilon
Just wondering if this client will go Open Source since I see that it will (or is planned to) be Linux compatable.
Niceguy
the authors have said that as long as they are actively developing utorrent they will keep it closed source, that is not to say that they will go open source if they stop development. I understand them, as I would personally go the same route, especially during this development phase where alot of changes are (likely) still being done to the core.either way, the client is free and developing at an amazing speed, really nothing more I could ask for. Aeon17x
I'm happy as long as they intend to make a Linux port. Open sourcing can come later.
silverfire
The developers have already said that it won't become open source until they become unable to maintain development themselves, so don't expect to see it happening anytime soon. Ultima
There's got to be some way for n00bs to learn to search before asking questions, no? This is really becoming ridiculous...

Niceguy
perhaps it should be stated in the faq, though I fear few new arrivals take the time to read that either...
