1c3d0g
Careful...I'd be very, very wary of installing that "µTorrent v.1.6"...any build not distributed through www.utorrent.com should be treated as hostile. :/
Firon
Fake. Probably loaded with spyware or trojans or something.
nf0rc3r
Lol.. how can someone have 1.6 when Firon doesn't
Ultima
Someone can. His name's Ludvig Strigeus =P
boo
hardly Ultima, with the speed of development which ludde has worked in the past, makes it most unlikely that µT 1.6 could exist.
Firon
The latest one is 1.5.1 build 439. There is NO 1.6.
Ultima
I was joking... also, I *did* said someone can, not someone does O.o
mcramer
Well, with a spirit of adventure (and my antivirus and spyware up to date) I tried to dload it, but there are no seeds. The tracker is http://tracker.zerotracker.com:2710/announce.
slimy
Looks like we won't be seeing 1.6 for a long while (keeping in mind that we haven't had a beta version for so long)
Nefarious
so? ludde could surprise us with an "all new all different utorrent release" any minute
1c3d0g
Slimy: uhm...yes we have, although it's private.
Ultima
Nah, it's still a beta for 1.5.1. Even if ludde's going to bump the version to 1.6 in the end, it's still 1.5.1 until he renames it to 1.6 =P
1c3d0g
Last I heard, it was gonna be v.1.6, as the WebUI and the other stuff are "big" additions/changes.
Firon
He only changes that number when it's a final release.
legumo
oohhhh look....uTorrent wanna add WEBUI, how nice, wouldn't it betterto just add a Trojan separately and we tell you what is the port directlyso you can access our pc's and f*** it up?after the PEERFACTOR *thing* you wanted to add WEBUI now,yea yeah i know my beloved Azureus has it, but azureus got nothingto do with PF.glad i'm staying away from uTorrent, it's turning into a trap. osm0sis
Sad how some people can change so easily by reading a couple baseless, uninformed opinions .. especially after they've been rationally explained (to death) on this forum, webpage and various other sites for months.hmm here's a personal favorite. Firon
The webui's been WIP for MONTHS, long before the PeerFactor thing (which you seem to be highly misinformed about). If you want to delude yourself into thinking it's malicious, go ahead. Get a tinfoil hat while you're at it.
Ultima
ROFL @ legumo. That's all.

Hirvine
legumo, what the f*ck your telling? Everyone knows your IP and Port, if they don't they can't make a connection to ya? (Aw, crap, http is always port 80, aw how scary, now everyone knows ...) So, uh? What ya talking about? Also on the main site there is a tiny text 'µTorrent is not associated with any anti-P2P organization.'. If you follow the hyperlink read me behind it you probarly found out it utorremt hasn't anything todo with it. Above all, if that's your way of thinking, you should delete all programs on your pc. Each program might by an invader who just waits till it has enough people to attack. So beware for Windows , you never know, they might attack all governement buildings or military servers ...Sorry, couldn't resist it any longer
jroc
hell, I can tell without a doubt whose connected to me by looking at the torrent site peerlist and matching the %'s complete in my client and the site peerlist What exactly are u talking about legumo? And ty osmosis for pointing out the hypocrisy...lolAs for 1.5 pretty soon there will be no more features to add. uTorrent has been complete for me since 1.1.7.2Everything since has been icing on the cake. Nefarious
legumo is just pissed off at utorrent, and treats it like garbage, he believing everything that has been told about utorrent and the anti-p2p garbage, dont mind him
Ultima
lol indeed, I still remember him complementing µTorrent (can't forget the manual line breaks ;P). Which is why I'm still ROFLMFAO when I read his comment (along with the fact that he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about) xD
