Utorrent Latest Warning Message

I'm currently using utorrent 1.8.5 because this version never gets banned by any torrent sites and generally works well for me.

I have the box "check for updates automatically" checked as if this was not checked there was a problem with utorrent starting automatically after a reboot.

I was just blocking the utorrent update IP address with iptables to stop the update messages, but this latest warning message still appears, I cannot seem block it.

The problem with these warning messages is utorrent will not function properly, when there is one open.

How can I block these warning messages?

Upgrade your client. You should not run 1.8.5.

The update of wine seems to of solved the problem with the scam warning at startup if the "check for updates automatically" is not checked.

Unchecked the box and now no warning to update to latest.
