nweissma
What can be done to repair a DL damaged by " ... kb wasted"? Wasting 701 kb of a 302 MB video is enough to render the DL almost worthless. And how should I interpret -- and correct, if possible -- "Piece ... Failed Hash"? Switeck
If the download says 100% complete, it probably is...the wasted and hash fails are extra amounts it had to download to complete the torrent. The "damage" is self-repaired.
mokojole
rest assured if your download says 100%, you're done. Hash fails and all are just extra unwanted files downloaded that utorrent does not need to add to your downloads. just leave the wastes and hashfails to utorrent to deal with and enjoy your completed downloads. u digg!!! nweissma
nevertheless, many of the 100%'s are certainly flawed, notwithstanding that i cannot identify the cause.
Switeck
Damaged/dying hard drive......or Media indexer programs that edit the MP3 tags on videos and audio files (at least of some types...)...Or a virus/malware!Take your pick, and act fast -- because any of those are BAD news. nweissma
Just wondering: uTorrent has crashed a few times ... might this be the cause of the faulty 100%'s?
Switeck
Only if the reason for the crash is also corrupting the hard drive.
