gojira87
I dont know what is going on but starting late last night uTorrent stopped downloading files I had already going. As of this morning still nothing. I went to bittorrent and they donwload there fine. So there is some kind of issue with utorrent. Does ANYONE have this same issue? And how does one fix it

gojira87
I appreicate that post, however I've been using Utorrent now for the better part of three years and this suddenly occured, would BtGuard have anything to do with it. I already ran tests to see if my provider was causing the issue and everything there was fine. What troubles me is BitTorrent is not having any of these issues, do you think possibly an unisntall and reinstall would work. I noticed that when BtGuard is downlaoded it addes Utorrent along with it? Any chance that could be the issue?
DreadWingKnight
Could be, but we don't support or endorse btguard in any way, so if they're broken, they're broken.
gojira87
yeah and their support is worthless. They have ZERO support LOL
DreadWingKnight
Then, with uTorrent closed, wipe your settings.dat and settings.dat.old files from start - run - %appdata%\utorrent and start over with clean settings.

DreadWingKnight
in the run box, you put in "%appdata%\utorrent" without the quotes.
