mandu
Hello. I am using utorrent 2.0.4 on Win7 64 and am having some issues with speed...I am on a fibre optic connection, and testing numerous times on speedtest and some other sites, my average result is DOWN 64.08 Mb/s UP 60.12 Mb/s.On a router, properly port forwarded utorrent says good, network good. I have set it up using utorrent's connection guide.I do not use the utp bandwidth option, though i have tried with it on and off. I am not being throttled but have encryption enabled anyway.I use ESET Smart Security, latest version, and all related permissions have been set.I have followed Rafi's guide on http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=74820My issue is that I cannot seem to get over 200kb/s while downloading three files each with over 200 seeds and 2000 peers. Is there anything else I can look at? Switeck
Does this slow download speed problem occur even on the known-to-be-very-fast test torrents mentioned in 1st link of my signature?
mandu
Yes, the max speed i get is 116-125kb/s on any of those files...
Switeck
1st and 2nd links in my signature then...And the worst-case scenario, try 3rd link in my signature -- just understand that will likely make speeds lower due to its restricted settings. It's only to be tried as a last resort to fight hostile ISPs.
mandu
Tried everything in your links, and have tried glasnost. i'm not being being throttled.
Switeck
Maybe you only have high speeds to ips on the same ISP or in the same country?
mandu
has that been known to happen??
Switeck
Very often for Pacific Rim countries or Eastern European countries that have wired major cities with very fiber optic networks...but still have horrible cross-country/international lines.
