mrMan01
I'm testing uTorrent Falcon, I'm only using the client functionality not the server features (I am interested in the new "run program" features). When running 3.0 I can't connect to one of the private trackers I use. I have confirmed that the latest 2.0 version works with this tracker on the same computer and other trackers work on 3.0.The tracker uses https and has a cert that is not from a trusted provider. I assume that this is related to the problem. Is this a know issue? Any suggestions on how to workaround or diagnose the problem? Thanks
mrMan01
bump,Where should I raise this so it gets the attention of the dev team, I suspect it is a defect.
Ultima
Project Falcon is the codename for the web portion. So absolutely wrong subforum. Try the actual 3.0 announcement thread instead. And you're going to have to mention exactly what you see in the Trackers tab for that torrent, because just "not connecting" isn't all that telling. Firon
The latest trunk has fixed compatibility for known webservers. lighttpd 1.4.26 has a very bad bug that breaks SSL in a lot of cases (even with browsers), so that's the only thing our client can't talk to. mrMan01
thanks for the reply, the server is running lighttpd 1.4.19 do you know does 1.4.28 or 1.5 fix the problem?Editlooking at the lighttpd change log I see some SSL changes in 1.4.27, I assume these fix the problem. I will see if we can update the server.Again thanks
mrMan01
We had our server updated to lighttpd 1.4.28 and uTorrent 3.0 is now able to connect, problem solved. Thanks for your help.
Firon
Good to know. And yes, 1.4.28 does indeed fix the SSL problems. No need to upgrade to 1.5 to fix it.For the curious, sending an HTTP request in more than one packet/chunk will make lighttpd 1.4.26 choke when using SSL.
