Neliel
Here's a clearly defined couple screenshots, and in the 3.0Alpha as well, that pretty-well demonstrate how it is no longer maintaining an upload limit for some reason.http://i51.tinypic.com/15fg8wo.pnghttp://i52.tinypic.com/t7dbtx.png
Switeck
I presume you don't have uTP or overheads limited in Bandwidth settings, so uTorrent is working as designed...just not as you want.

Secrets! -- will see if this fixes the issue, if it doesn't, I'll mention it, if I don't, means it worked and should be enabled by default ;PThanks~
Yuuki
I uncheck the "Enable bandwidth management [uTP]" and everything works great.the upload limit stays at 150kb/s.Thanks.
DreadWingKnight
Re-check it and enable the apply rate limit to uTP instead

rafi
@to the experts above, Neliel & Yuuki: 2.2 beta has an issue with uploading. Till alus fixes that, the only reasonable solution for people having upload problems is revert back to the stable 2.04 (link at my sig). No sense to have them run-around in circles ... Sorry... My 2 cents ...

My 2 cents ...No need to do that, with that checkbox he mentioned it works perfectly again, I prefer being ahead of the curve and using the latest anyhow Though, on an unrelated note, dunno why the little icons seem to be getting more changes than the client xD
rafi
Well, it's a beta so I guess whoever want to play with it - let him "suffer"... Not many will find that bypass easily, tho. Me, I think there is some other setting you have that effects uTP upload (like this uTP limit that was mentioned...) dunno why the little icons seem to be getting more changes than the client xDMy thoughts exactly! But hey, this 2.2 release is FULL of GUI changes. This seems to be it's main goal , beside "apps" (to my regret). Other serious functional features' requests are being neglected for years now... cdebel2005
I presume you don't have uTP or overheads limited in Bandwidth settings, so uTorrent is working as designed...just not as you want.SLAP at Switeck!I'm just to tired to read this crap. There's a bug and no one else than rafi seems to agree with it. With global upload speed set at 50 KB/secand uTP limit unchecked, i upload at 100 Kb/secand with uTP checked, it drop to 25-30 Kb/sec.With global upload speed set at 100 KB/secand uTP limit unchecked, i upload at 100 Kb/secand with uTP checked, it drop to 50-65 Kb/sec.I have to set a global upload speed limit otherwise i get a crappy internet connection.I figured out that it was just sending at 50 to 60% of the global speed limit with uTP checked. At the beginning i've set global to 20 Kb/sec and i was able to upload only at 6 Kb/sec so i was about to give up but now i understand a little more about the bug and i'll just double the global speed limit and keep that uTP checked.
