Maxx4 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I can't delete the uTorrent Appdata folder because "the folder or a file in it is open in another program," which is not true. I've tried deleting it with cmd (elevated) and it won't work.
DreadWingKnight Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 And what does unlocker say about what has files open in it?
Maxx4 Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 Unlocker doesn't work either. It says it can't delete the file but will do so on reboot. I reboot and the file is still there. Weirdest thing because Unlocker has always worked for me.
DreadWingKnight Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 That doesn't answer the question I asked.
Maxx4 Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 It doesn't say anything in regards to that, it goes right into the reboot-delete-later message.
DreadWingKnight Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 It doesn't say what program has the files locked?
moogly Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Did you try to erase %appdata%\utorrent after having rebooted your computer?
Maxx4 Posted October 19, 2010 Author Report Posted October 19, 2010 Yes and I get the same message about it being in use.
moogly Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 What's your OS?And do you have an AV? Maybe your AV is scanning %appdata%\utorrent.And are you able to delete the files within %appdata%\utorrent?
