Antares Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I'm constantly seeing a popup saying "A network cable is unplugged" while I have uTorrent open. The issue doesn't seem to come up when it's not open. I'll see the popup again and again throughout the day, and it always disappears after a second. The message would indicate that I've been disconnected from the Internet, but the light on my modem stays greeen so it's a little weird. I have noticed that when I see the popup while I'm loading a page, the page takes longer than usual to load but it'll eventually come up. If I'm reading manga online and the popup appears, I would have to reload the page because it would normally load instantly. I suspect the issue may have to do with port forwarding, but I believe I've done everything needed in order for port forwarding to work properly. I see the green icon in uTorrent for the most part... Hopefully someone will have some insight into this issue. I posted it here because I believe it's related to my using of this program.
Switeck Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Do you happen to have a 2wire modem-router?If so, it's overloading and causing this.1st and 2nd links in my signature if that's the case...
Antares Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 No, I have an Actiontec modem-router. Do you think it's the same issue?
Switeck Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 It's still worth going through the links even if it's not the modem overloading.Mostly the interrupted internet part in 1st link.
