Suggestion: Don't use alternate background color for sorted column

The alternate row background coloring is helpful for distinguishing rows. However, the idea of using the alternate background for the sorted column is very bad. First, it's unnecessary, as it's easily seen by the arrow in the column headers which column is being sorted. But the bigger problem is that it breaks up the visual continuity of the row coloring, which make it more difficult to follow a row across the screen. This is particularly true when you've sorted by a wide column such as Name, which it makes it very difficult to accurately read a row the whole way across the screen.
