Carson Dyle Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Two questions (I'm using uTorrent 2.2):What is the default port (is there a default port) for the web ui? I couldn't figure it out and only by enabling the "alternate" port was I able to find the web interface.I have a home server on which there are multiple IP addresses bound to the NIC. I want to run uTorrent as a Windows service listening on only one IP address, and the standard HTTP port 80. Can uTorrent be bound to just a single IP address, or does it always listen on all addresses?
Ultima Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 The default port is the listening port µTorrent normally uses for incoming connections from other peers. As for binding to an IP, net.bind_ip and/or net.outgoing_ip might do what you want. It has been known to not work perfectly though, (as I understand it) due to OS limitations.
