Adam8756 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 I have been a uTorrent user for several years, and have recently experience severe trouble seeding torrents.I recently updated my PC to Windows 7 32bit. Since then I have not been able to upload above ~5kB/s. I then realized that I am not staying connected to peers. They will show up in the peers task pane, then quickly disappear. I was using the latest 2.2 beta, and am experiencing the same issues with the stable 2.0.4. All ports are forwarded correctly, and I have tried every imaginable setting, including Enabling Protocol Encryption. I have changed my listening port just in case my ISP may have been throttling my speeds, to no avail. I have another computer on my network also using Windows 7 (although 64bit) and uTorrent with no reported seeding issues.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Switeck Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 If the problem is only with 1 computer on the same LAN network connected to the same ISP connection, then the solution is probably to replace the offending part...be it a bad software firewall or bad network card.
