mrelectron
hi:whenever i run utorrent or previously azureus, my http traffic (via browser, ie6 and firefox 1.5) would slow to nearly a stop, as soons as i shut down the torrent client - browser traffic would return to normal the problem happens regardless of how much bandwidth the torrent client is using. for example if my torrent client is downloading at 10kB/s then the browser is still slowed to less than crawl. speed test from dslreports.com=======================================400 / 102Your download speed : 400 kbps or 50 KB/sec.Your upload speed : 102 kbps or 12.8 KB/sec.=======================================any ideas ?thanksmark
zan012
this happens to me aswell, only i cannot get any http traffic at all. as a result of this the trackers are not able to update in utorrent.i have donr the winXP mod to increase the number of open tcp connection allowed but this has made no difference.also, this does not only affect my computer; once utorrent (or any bt client) is run on my computer, no other computers on our wireless netword can get any http traffic! any help? Firon
Your routers probably can't handle UDP packets, get new routers or turn off DHT.

Firon
A lot of consumer routers can't handle the number of UDP packets that DHT generates (often happens with Kad on eMule, too).
