Paradise Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Hi,how can i limit the upload per tracker or group?
moogly Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 You can't. It's globally or per torrent.
Paradise Posted October 27, 2010 Author Report Posted October 27, 2010 Hm, ok - not good.Nobody expect me has the problem that one tracker gets all the up?Setting per torrent is no option. Cause you set all 15 from one tracker to 10 kbyt/s what makes 150 if all pull and then the other tracker gets 50 kbyt/s. Put what if one torrent has a lot of leecher and the others not. Than you limit this one torrent to 10 kbyt/s and don't use your bandwith. The best thing would be if we could set it in % for groups.Lets say you set your global up to 300 kbyt/s.Then group 1 to 70% and group 2 to 30%.Then group 1 gets 210 kbyt/s and group 2 gets 90 kbyt/s.Put if there is no leecher for a torrent from group 2 then group 1 can use all 300 kbyt/s.Or if the torrents from group 2 just pull 30 kbyt/s then group 1 can use all 270 kbyt/s.Sure, everything vice versa...I wonder that this is not allready an option.
Switeck Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 You upload to PEERS not trackers. If a peer found you using DHT/Peer Exchange, it may not be using a tracker at all!
Paradise Posted October 28, 2010 Author Report Posted October 28, 2010 Yes, you upload to peers but your radio counts on the trackers. And one tracker is geting most of the bandwith...
Switeck Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 There is a priority feature for uploading, but it won't change much if torrents from 1 tracker have lots of peers while torrents from the other tracker have very few. Setting upload slots per torrent really low might help spread a little more evenly.
