Adding torrent problem

I have just formatted my laptop and added the torrents on again to be seeded. But I am having trouble with some music torrents. Some upload fine and have been checked by Utorrent to 100%. But the ones that are a problem dont upload at all or just a couple of percent. After they are checked they restart to download from what ever percent they were checked to. I first thought that this was Utorrent not communicating with my trackers properly. Then I done some research and I now think the problem is iTunes. I added the music torrent to my iTunes library and it turns out that iTunes might have added metadata inside the files. And this makes Utorrent not reconise all of the files or just some as the file size is larger that what was previsly downloaded. I am asking is there away to fix this as I am using Utorrent 2.0.4. I found that VUZE has the option to Truncate the torrents.

I am wondering wether Utorrent has this option or another to fix this. Or wether I am miles of the problem.
