New µTorrent user. How do I begin?

Hey guys µTorrent noob here. I've been through the forum and I haven't come across anything that has gotten µTorrent to work for me. µTorrent says there are 1728 seeds and 1373 peers for the torrent file I'm trying to download. Why can't I connect? In the Bandwidth section of Preferences, I've unchecked download and upload limits. Seeding is set to stop at 1.5 up/down ratio. In the Network section, Incoming TCP port says No Incoming Connections. What's the benefit of randomizing port during launch? And why is the Play button grayed out?

The incoming port, is it blocked by your firewall? If so, that would cause the problem.
