crE
Hi there,I've got a Netgear WG834GT Router, yesterday my torrents were working fine, but suddenly today.. They've slowed right down!!I did a port forwarding test and it says =======================Checking port 80 on 62.56.38.211...Error! Port 80 does not appear to be open.=======================It says this no matter what port I choose.I have opened EVERY port on the router, and have NO firewalls running. It's extremely weird, I never seem to have any luck with torrents!!If anyone could help out I'd really appreciate it.Regards,crE

Firon
Have you tried another port?
splintax
Have you followed the portforward.com guide for your router?I would also suggest moving away from port 80, as it's a service port some routers could have problems with it I suppose... crE
I've tried loads of random ports... My downloads still max out at about 10kbps..Ive looked at netstat -n ... and it shows the port im currently using (6881) .. is very very active... theres loads of connections initiated and waiting... but it doesnt seem to be using 6882..6883..6884....... its stuck to one port..Hmmmmm? crE
(I only tried 80 to see what happened, as I know it should be open).. and yeah, i followed portforwarder guide religously. I had to chose a slightly different model as myn wasnt listed. But Ive forwarded ports for friends and its worked fine.Nothing has changed, it just happened over night :S
