Handling of malformed folder paths

I just noticed again that when you set a path to save the files from a .torrent file to such as this:

C:Users\vandan\Downloads\New Folder

notice the missing backslash after the leading C:, you have no idea of where the downloaded data would wind up.

A hypothesis is that it is put where the last .torrent file's contents were downloaded to but that would have to be verified.

So my request would be a stricter path validation, I suppose.

Edit: I currently use version 2.0.4, build 22150.
