S33DX Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Ok, this is a bit extensive, but oh well.I set the global upload limit to 300kB/s, which works perfectly (this seems to be where everyone else is confused). That worked for a couple of days, but then I removed the global limit (setting it to 0kB/s), but whatever I try (start/stop torrents, force start, reboot client etc) all completely fail. The global limit is now set to 0kB/s, but no matter what, my torrents won't upload any faster than 299-300kB/s (the line is capable of +50MB/sec, but normally sticks around 18-20MB/sec on a popular torrent). Now for the interesting thing: if I untick the "uTP" option on the same page as upload limit (when it's set to 0), uTorrent will use 15-20MB/sec without any problems whatsoever. Even if I set the global limit to something else, it has absolutely no effect. Unticking "uTP rate limit" is the only thing to make it run at proper speed.I don't see why that should make a difference, as the global limit is set to 0, so whether or not uTP is on or not shouldn't matter? This bug has only occurred in the latest update (which I've been running 2-3 days). I'm using 2.0.4, build 22450.
S33DX Posted November 5, 2010 Author Report Posted November 5, 2010 Hmm, 2.2RC #22966 doesn't resolve this problem either.
Switeck Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Just to be certain,1.You're unchecking the "Apply rate limit to uTP connections"?2.Global Upload Rate Limiting is set to 0 (unlimited)?3.There are no individual torrent speeds set?4.Scheduler is disabled?
