eisa01
Now that we have DHT, RSS, PEX and encryption, what's next? I hope that a web interface will be next, but after that I can't think of any more useful features.
1c3d0g
Yeah, that's supposed to be next, and then probably some cross-platform stuff. It's pretty much feature complete.
emtec666
Me neither: maybe something like a per slot upload limit (would help me for instance in the case 1 or 2 leechers within my ISP's IP range suck away a lot of upload bandwidth)? Don't know how hard that would be to implement though.
boo
ssl and gzip trackers support could be added Except for that, I personally think there is only tweaking left
eisa01
Yeah, that's supposed to be next, and then probably some cross-platform stuff. It's pretty much feature complete. Looking forward to it, as I run µTorrent on the PC and control it on my mac. But the PC is often occupied by someone else, so I can't.
Allied
Right now Azureus and BitComet have bragging rights when it comes to integrated trackers.I'd like to see a better tracker before a web interface.
DreadWingKnight
Right now Azureus and BitComet have bragging rights when it comes to integrated trackers.Azureus is the only client with a fully-working integrated tracker. BitComet's one is separate (and lacking)
splintax
I too would like to see some improvements in the tracker, but I don't want a full-blown tracker.Just things like only accept torrents to be tracked if there is a torrent with that hash in the queue. Firon
web interface, UDP NAT traversal
Game90
if im not wrong, only bitcomet currently supports UDP NAT bypass. so its good if utorrent could add this in as well.
Firon
won't be compatible with BC's (as per usual), but yes, we are planning on doing it.
winMX_67
UDP support.
Firon
I doubt µTorrent will ever support the UDP tracker spec.
Ares
Psh, I know what everyone is *really* thinking here... we need a pause button for the easter egg! (Spacebar perhaps??) Or how about we go all out and make it multiplayer, with a BFG? lol But yeah, we're about out of things to add. µTorrent has everything I could possibly need for torrenting. Including something to keep me occupied while the bits fly. -Ares
MoJo
How about support of magnet link uri's just like that found in Azureus. I guess there is always room for bug-fixes, and code improvements ... aside those uTorrent is fully featured already.
Firon
magnet links can only happen if Azureus DHT is implemented.

MagusG
I know its been mentioned elsewhere, but is there any chance of including the Azureus DHT implementation in the future?
Ultima
Remains a possibility. Although I don't use DHT, I would like to see the networks bridged together.
1c3d0g
Everyone would like to see that, though I'm not sure if it's feasible. :|
shadek
Yeah, if µTorrent was compitable with Azureus' DHT, it'd rock. Other than that, I'd love to get that Web Interface-function.
Yenkaz
probarly a stupid question, but what is a web interfact for a bittorent client?
shadek
It means you can handle µTorrent from a remote computer. For instance, if you're at school and want your µTorrent client at home to download the latest TV-show, you can do so from the computer you're on.
