synchronizing torrent downloads

hi, This is my maiden post.I have a dual system with windows and ubuntu.I spend my time almost equally on both oses.I have downloaded a torrent and opened it in Windows. when 10 percent completed I had closed for the day.Next day started to work in ubuntu. opened the same torrent in vuze. Immediately it recognized the file (same ntfs folder ) and started downloading further from 10 % already finished and completed upto 50%..Now after some time i had closed ubuntu and booted windows and utorrent started to download from 10% done in windows and failed to recognize what is downloaded in ubuntu even though there is one file only.Is there some way to over come this in utorrent?.thanks

Force a re-check in uTorrent before starting it there on windows.
