MariosX Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 Hello!I am another person who has problems with WebUI.I'm gonna be short:OS: Windows 7 x64 uTorrent Version: Latest, 2.0.4Local IP adress: 192.168.0.88Windows Firewall: OffCustom Port in uTorrent: 50125Custom Port for WebUI: 50126WebUI: Enabled, custom username and passwordI tested http://yourip:yourport/gui/ (192.168.0.88:50126/gui) and it works perfectly. Since I want to use WebUI to remote control uTorrent I registered at www.dyndns.org and then configured the router to auto-login.The hostname works fine. I can log-in to the router and remote control it but webui does not work.To access the webUI I tried this: hostname:50126/guiI also tried http://Username:Password@YourIP:UTport/gui/I have also configured the router to Port Forward the ports.Any ideas?
Ultima Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Custom Port for WebUI: 50126So... shouldn't you be visiting port 50126 instead?
MariosX Posted November 14, 2010 Author Report Posted November 14, 2010 Custom Port for WebUI: 50126So... shouldn't you be visiting port 50126 instead?Sorry it was a misstype in my post..Yes I visit 50126 port when I have the Alternative Port option checked in uTorrent. When I don't I visit 50125.I also tried 8080 which doesn't work.I believe it's not the router that causes problems. It must be Windows 7.Could it be that even if the firewall is turned off, it could be active?
DreadWingKnight Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Are you testing from behind the same router you're trying to connect to?

DreadWingKnight Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 -.-A number of routers tend to not like trying to loopback like that.Try with another internet connection if you can.
