High CPU usage in latest stable release (build 23071)

Problem:

On opening utorrent, CPU usage sits at around 13% for quite some time - and the user interface is so slow, it's pretty much unusable.

As mentioned on other posts, disabling the following features has worked for others:

gui.graph_legend

gui.graph_overhead

gui.transparent_graph_legend

However this did not work for me.... suggestions welcome!
