Until you can figure out the 'flood detection' issue, could you disconnect but NOT ban the peers, or perhaps impliment a three-strikes limit before doing the ban?

Strange, but for some reason whenever I change gui settings for progress bars - the progress bar for downloads remains the same... That is INVISIBLE" it's just "DOwnloading and that's all..

That would be great because the dates appear to be running backwards now Firon. My "added-on" date is now reading 12/31/1969 as of today. Version 2.2.1, Build 23858, Windows Vista Ultimate 64.

We have discovered a time-machine, and my upload speeds have never been this good! Perhaps there was less Internet traffic back in 1969 and 1970.

- Feature: Add a uTP delay measurement graph <- Can't see the average delay with the huge peak spikes, i liked my "send to log" idea better.

- Fix: search box flickers when it should be hidden <- I see this anyway.

New 2.2.1 up with a properly fixed ipfilter (it never quite worked correctly) and some reduced CPU usage in the GUI.

CPU freaks out on latest beta when I run it using wine. Much higher cpu usage than build 23551.

wineserver with µT 23551 - cpu 1-2%

wineserver with µT 23832 - cpu 70-80%

both tests with exactly same torrents active and same settings

same problem with 23908

We have not made any new attempts to fix Wine (it's some bug in Wine that we tried to do a workaround for that failed).

Yes, I've tried it with clean prefix and latest stable Wine (1.2.2) (can't get the dev builds of wine to work on my mac)

Tried the 23908 build with the PEX flood updates.

Loaded three torrents, approx 250, 30, and 10 peers.

Ended up with 8, 1, and 0 bans (below).

Perhaps some marginal improvement, but still occuring.

Torrents started at 16:39; logging stopped when DLing done.

Just tried two more torrents,

one with ~800 peers, one with ~250;

yielding 15 and 8 bans respectively.

I would say the changes have helped.

(but hope you eventually find the real bug).

µTorrent 2.2.1 beta 23908 and 2 versions below that, keeps on rebooting my server, 2003 server x64 , i disable IPV6 see if it still does it

Your entire server is crashing? Are you seeing bluescreens?

Since I download this version I have been unable to download anything. My firewall settings are correct and as they should be and I can't see why there would be a problem with my router as everything was working as it should up until I downloaded the update. Also I can download from my laptop, it is just my desktop not working. Next to each download it says downloading but everything either is blank or at zero. The download strip is green for the first few seconds then moves to red. I have read pages of questions and answers on forums but have not found an answer that works. Plenty of people seem to be having the same exact problem. I am using windows XP on my desktop. Any ideas as to what the problem may be.
