theymademedoiy Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Hi, I have been following guide after guide to try and sort out this issue.Basically I am trying to seed but my upload speeds are under really low.My downloads are fine. When I have Utorrent running and even if there is no activity, my internet cuts out.My speed tests show - 19.8mb down0.70mb up.Have port forwarded and I am not behind a firewall.I mainly use private trackers.I have had to set my Utorrent back to default as all the changes became a little too confusing, so now I have a blank canvas. Can anyone help me with this problem?Cheers, Al
rafi Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 You might find some helpfull tips in my sig...Basically - a 1:25 upload/download ratio can cause issues IF you try to upload AND download at full speed and at the same time w/o proper speed limits.
theymademedoiy Posted November 20, 2010 Author Report Posted November 20, 2010 Hi mate...I have tried your tips....at least I think I did...I have tried that many.As a quick thought is there anything in particular you would change in my settings (default) to make life better?
rafi Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Except what's in my guide (section ? Nope .
Switeck Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Disable in uTorrent:UPnP, NAT-PMP, DHT, LPD, uTP (Bandwidth Management), and Resolve IPs.Then follow the 2nd link in my signature...you almost certainly shouldn't use anything over about 800 kbit/sec upload speed and may have only about half that.

Mate....I think that worked....I am seeding 3 at about 45 up and no internet cut outs! Thanks!!AL
Switeck Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 That suggests you have a terrible networking problem -- it doesn't like lots of UDP packets, which those features generate. Wireless/USB networking and cheap routers are notorious for this.
