losing all download and seeding files

Thanks for your help.

Every time I shut down my computer I lose all downloading and seeding files from utorrent. Only the list not the actual files. How do I save them so I won't have to add them again and go through the very slow check files process again.

Back up all of uTorrent's settings .dat files AND all the .torrent files before it closes.

Are you shutting down uTorrent before shutting down the computer?

This last time I did stop all transfers closed utorrent then shutdown my computer and I lost all the files on uttorrent. Before this I did not stop the transfers and close utorrent - but this last time I purposely stoped the transfers and closed utorrent in hopes of not having to do what I am doing now. I have been using utorrent for about a month, this did not happen during the first week or two. There does not seem to be a save torrent checklist in the preferences checklists.

You have to manually back up the settings. I suggest using Windows Explorer to do that.
