fatgreenthing
Hi, i am curious about how many connections may be established between two distinct seeds/peers.For example, utorrent instance has to download Torrent A (5 files, high priority) and Torrent B (1 file, low priority). Both torrents have the same and only seeder (running unknown client). So client starts to request a total of 6 files from a single seeder via DHT/via custom ("allow anything") tracker script. How will the requests be replied? How much connections would be allowed for a single client to download parts of all the six files? In ED2K, have seen up to three connections to different files from a single user.. will it be same with utorrent and is it normal for bittorrent at all? DreadWingKnight
One connection per peer per torrent.
